It was a looooong day....
I had a rather busy day today checking out the show floor looking for new ideas and interesting things. But in reality spent most of the time fretting about my presentation on incentives and how to position them correctly within an overall compensation and rewards strategy. No matter how many times you present - it's always a nerve-racking experience. I think it went well and I hope everyone who attended enjoyed it and took something away from the time spent.
Below is my video recap of the day. Couple of things to listen for....
I mention in the video that we're going to be doing the normal monthly blogtalkradio show from right outside the show floor. Here's the link to the site where you can get the call in number and listen to past shows.
The call in number is: 646 - 381 - 4430
Call in and listen or call in and talk - just press "1" on your phone and I'll open the line. It's a free-for-all-Thursday - no limits, no constraints.
Also, pay attention - you might here me mention Starr Tincup. Click here to read about a interesting and exciting new effort we've cooked up.
I'm looking forward to some more meandering - and really looking forward to the radio show tomorrow.
Enjoy the video - (email viewers may need to click through here to see the video.)
Thank you for the video update and congratulations on the joint effort with Starr Tincup. I have a great deal of respect for both entities and it will be interesting to see how the incentive industry responds. Exciting!

Thanks Trish. The video thing is tough. No matter how hard you try to be relaxed - you still get nervous knowing the camera is on... weird. Gives me a whole new respect for those that can do it well and really come off as themselves on camera.
The Starr Tincup thing could be great. If I were running a traditional incentive agency - I'd be all over it - and that's not just 'cuz I'm shilling - they need it!
I'm getting stoked for HRevolution 2011 - ATL is only a couple of hours away - I can spend more time there which is good. Remember - you can count on me to help you in ANY way - I'll stuff swag, I'll carry the water baby. Looking forward to it!
