I have been tagged by Ann Bares from Compensation Force to provide 8 facts about me that others don't (or maybe shouldn't) know. And then I'm required to continue the chain. I sent emails - not posts to the blog to let them know.
First, the Rules:
- Post these rules before you give your facts
- List 8 random facts about yourself
- At the end of your post, choose (tag) 8 people and list their names, linking to them
- Leave a comment on their blog, letting them know they've been tagged
This will be hard...but here goes:
- I was baptized in the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.
- I lived in Tokyo for three years and watched Bob Gibson pitch in 1970 at a game against the Tokyo Giants - in Tokyo Stadium.
- At the start of college I wanted to be a 7th grade teacher - then switched to statistics because I thought it would be easier.
- I own hard-back versions of every book in the "Dune" series - even the ones written by Frank Herbert's son (yeah...I'm a geek.)
- I worked at a moving company in college and can drive an 18-wheeler.
- I am an nut about stereo speakers - always trying to find the absolute best (within intelligent price points.)
- I had dinner with Magnus Ver Magnusson - worlds strongest man - and we talked about how he should run for office in Iceland.
- I sat next to Bono (the lead singer for U2 for you youngsters) and his family at breakfast in the Atlantis Hotel in the Bahamas (I'm sure he's putting the fact that he sat next to me on his 8 facts!)
Granted - two of these have nothing to do with me personally - but they still were cool for me.
Now the really hard part - I have to pick 8 others to tag - and hopefully they will continue the chain.
My picks:
Ed Batista - Executive Coaching and Change Management
Ryan Healy - Employee Evolution
Enrique Burgos - Incentives and Relationship Marketing
Scott McArthur - McArthur's Rant
Grant McCracken - This Blog Sits at the Intersection of Anthropology and Economics
Next!
Oh! that's a good idea! Watch this space!
