From a post on Business2.0 Blog. "Does the world need another social network? Apparently some entreprenuers out there feel that MySpace, the Facebook, LinkedIn, TagWorld, and, yes, Friendster (remember them?) are not enough. Next week will see the launch of Uspot.com, a Web 2.0-licious social networking site targeted at the college market."
The whole idea of social networking has me thinking... aren't the people in an incentive program nothing more than a network ... common company (or product line or business) with some things in common - like the program. What if we could hook up top performers with other top performers. Or allow past winners to brag about the last award trip? Maybe social network is the wrong term - more like a community with some social network elements. Either way, once a client experiences the community of an incentive program why would they go somewhere else? Here's the link to the entire article: Attack of the Social Networks
